Searching for documents on the web site.

You can search the site for relevant information by entering a keyword into the search box and click the submit button.
The search will return results for the keyword in document title and then by the document description. Each time the keyword is found it will appear highlighted in the results under the search area, e.g. the key word plan could return a result shown below:

You can refine the search to information which may be relevant to you by using the additional specific pull-down menus in the 'Advanced search' option. Using the 'Advanced Search' option results can be 'filtered' by Sector, location (geographical), School (school type e.g. Primary, Secondary etc) and Project Planning.

Reading documents on the web site.

Having located a document on the web site, the next step is to view it.

The type of document selected may determine how it can be viewed and or downloaded.

To view any document, click on the hyper link and follow the options set in you web browser. These settings will vary from the computer being used (IBM/PC or Apple Macintosh) to the browser itself (e.g. MS Internet Explorer, Fire fox, Safari)

Most browsers will attempt to 'open' the document you have selected in a new web page or launch another 'application' on your computer (e.g. Adobe Acrobat reader).

select Save Target asTo view any download and save a document using a two/three button mouse, right click on the hyper link and select Save Target as.... A new window will appear (IBM/PC or Apple Macintosh) and will let you select where to 'save' the file on your computer.

Navigating the web site.

Hyper links at the top of each page will take you to the main areas of the web site. When a selection has been made a 'breadcrumb' trail is visible underneath the main navigation and above the text on each page. The path or 'trail' taken to any point can be back tracked to any place if you wish to revise the path taken whilst engaging with the the web site.

Text only | Full version

The 'Text only' version displays only text and is designed for computers not using java script support or are using accessibility methods to view and access the web site. The 'Full version' of the web site shows colour, roll over text and images on each page. These options are available on every page and can 'switched' from one to the other by selecting the hyper link on each option.

About

The About section of this site contains background information on this AGQTP NSW cross-sectoral activity.

Site map

As the name suggests a 'site map' is a hypertext linked map of this web site. The site map page can be accessed from any page on the web site, showing all the information in an hierarchical position.

Accessibility

The Accessibility link contains the official accessibility statement for the AGQTP NSW Taking Professional Standards into Practice Internet site.
